Dear valuable partner,

In the name of LinX Corporation, I am pleased to announce that we have acquired Ultravision on March 1st, 2017. LinX is an expert and industry-leader in the distribution of machine vision products. The company is based in Japan with 27 years of history and over 70 employees. Part of LinX's product portfolio overlaps with that of Ultravision's within the Japanese market, such as MVTec, Basler, Silicon Software, LMI Technologies etc. The purpose of this acquisition is for the expansion of our business activities from Japan into South-east Asia ("SEA") market by leveraging our long-term experience and expertise in machine vision. We are very committed to enhancing services for customers in SEA by making available our knowledge and human resources from Japan.

We are grateful to Mr. Lee Wee Khiang and Ms. Phua Chwee Luan for building trusting relationships with Ultravision customers and creating a team with high standards of professionalism and collegiality over the past 20 years. We extend to them our most sincere best wishes for a happy and healthy retirement.

The new organization shall be managed by Henry Chia, who has been an employee of Ultravision for the last 12 years appointed as a Sales Director. He has been involved in the machine vision industry for a long time and has achieved great success in sales and forging robust supplier relationships. Jointly with Henry, we have strong growth plans for the SEA business and have injected sizable equity investment to achieve these goals.

I look forward to meeting you in person sometime soon. If there are any questions, please feel free to contact me directly.
